OUR GOAL
We aim to certify all adults who wrk around children in Mental Health First Aid (MHFA), one school at a time.
In 2022 Remy founded the 501(c)3 Launch2Life with a focus on suicide prevention and mental health education for adolescents and young adults. After too many (even ONE is too many!) close personal loses from suicide, including her father when she was younger, Remy feels one of her purposes in this life is to make a difference in young lives by lowering, and ultimately eliminating, suicides among our youth.
Through her clothing store Remy is able to design and create items for sale that are fashionable and purposeful. 100% of proceeds from your purchases of Launch2Life merchandise is donated to the cause to certify adults working with our youth in Mental Health First Aid.
We aim to certify all adults who wrk around children in Mental Health First Aid (MHFA), one school at a time.
We strive to move our culture from awareness to action in preventing suicides and eliminating stigmas associated with mental health among adolescents and young adults.
As awareness and conversations about mental health imprve, the numbers of suicides and attempts along with mental health struggles have increased. We believe it is time to go beyond awareness and take some ACTIONS.
We see our kids suffering and we understand there aren't enough therapists or hours to help them all. In the realm of "it takes a village", we believe when adults are trained in MHFA and paying attention, it shows our youth that their community cares about them, values them and is available to them.
It takes 7 hours of trainings to get Mental Health First Aid certified. The first two hours are self directed online then you'll join a group zoom call for 5 hours led by trainers from AIM/YMH, an organization in California working on Youth Mental Health.
Each $100 donation can certify one adult in Mental Health First Aid. Hold your camera over our Flowcode to go straight to donation page.
